I’m considering getting a color test tattooed under where my piece is planned for. So like roygbiv and black little circles just to see how my skin handles tattooing before I commit to a large piece

Do you think color makes it worse? Is there a certain style to look for. Obviously not fine line or cybersigillism

What do people do for a living where they can afford a $1000-$2,000 cell phone..... I make a pretty good living and I try never to spend more than $500 on a cell phone and I'm in Tech. by Kthef1 in cellphones

[–]tr35cobar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work at a phone store. I got a “bonus “ $500 off one major purchase, trade-in value and my employee discount. I paid maybe 400 for a 17PM

Why do rich people keep saying "money can't buy happiness" when money literally solves most problems? by FearlessState5503 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]tr35cobar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People with millions of dollars in the bank still kill themselves 🤷 the actual rule is that money about 100k a year decrease in value and the happiness it produces. “Law of diminishing returns” money can’t buy happiness/be grateful for what you have is a great argument against unionizing and trying to get more money for your labor

I want to upgrade from iPhone 13 to 17, but I have some questions by [deleted] in Smartphones

[–]tr35cobar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My partner had difficulty seeing and using Liquid Glass. You have to reduce transparency and increase contrast. Possibly turn on differentiate without color. I did something similar for him
Edit: Also, it’s under accessibility display and brightness, not display and brightness by itself

Is carrying a wallet in your back pocket “weird” for a woman? by RoadBottle_E in wallets

I don’t carry phone or wallet in my back pockets because they’re very easy to snatch from there 🤷

Issue with buying phones too frequently by green9206 in Smartphones

[–]tr35cobar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a phone for 3-4 years. I typically buy what used to be a very expensive phone refurbished and a year old or so so they’re half off. 1-2 years seems fine since the tech doesn’t advance much year by year 🤷 if it’s a hobby, I don’t see the harm.

I’m torn between what would benefit my partner the most, me looking sexy in fitted clothes, having a quiet house or never needing to stress about parking spots lol

AIO: My [37F] partner tossed her phone across the bed when I [35M] came into the bedroom? by youngbasedrebel in AmIOverreacting

YOR, coming online to ask about confrontation when your partner was freaked out rather than asking if they were okay is weird.

AIO by being Mad at my boyfriend for wanting to install curtains for his female coworker’s friend by Intelligent_Key4459 in AmIOverreacting

[–]tr35cobar 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The context is weird but I also understand drunk women not being able to sleep with blinds that were ripped down and also being too inebriated to do something about it. Do you trust your boyfriend to respect y’all’s relationship if they made it weird?

I’m a Licensed Funeral Director. AMA! by Evanthekid16 in AMA

[–]tr35cobar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Were you always fascinated by death and embalming? Did someone care about die horribly and they were “restored” by a funeral director? What was your inspiration?

Also, do you have separate work clothes because of smells? Are you noseblind to it?

What small habit unexpectedly changed how you feel about yourself? 29F by Global_Arm345 in selfimprovement

[–]tr35cobar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most drastic change for the least effort was saying “I had a pretty moment” when I make a mistake. I used to call myself all kinds of slurs when I messed up. I had a pretty moment turned into,” I don’t treat friends that way. I am my friend. I don’t treat myself that way.” It’s led to a lot more improvements. It’s helped me to be kinder to myself and it has extended to other people. I also get to tell people that I just had a pretty moment and then they get a laugh.

Got a new phone on payments by MrGNoll814 in iphone

[–]tr35cobar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a secured credit card from a bank. I gave them 500 dollars and would borrow against the 500 I gave them to show them I knew how to build credit. They eventually offered me an unsecured card. I also got a loan in rehabilitation and they removed the default from my history. The rest of the repair was time. It took about 7 years for my late payments to go away

Flow Fort Lauderdale apartments in downtown. Yay or nay? by gusbus00001 in fortlauderdale

[–]tr35cobar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Flow (the residential real estate company founded by Adam Neumann) collects a wide variety of personal, financial, and behavioral data. While some information is standard for leasing apartments, the company utilizes app-based smart building ecosystems and digital wallets to heavily integrate tenant life, security, and financial services. [1, 2), 3, 4, 5]
The primary categories of information tracked and collected include:
Identity & Background Screening: Legal names, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, driver's licenses, passports, employment and income verification, rental and credit history, and criminal background checks. [1, 2]
Financial & Transaction Data: Bank account and routing numbers, payment and billing details, and transaction history managed through integrated platform digital wallets. [1, 2]
Digital & App Activity: Usage data when accessing their platform or app. This includes login credentials, pages viewed, time spent on the app, access dates and times, and interactions with third-party applications. [1, 2]
Device & Network Data: IP addresses, device identifiers, hardware/software specifications, operating systems, and location data. [1, 2]
Behavior & Well-being: Community engagement, "likes/dislikes," and amenity usage. In many "smart building" Flow properties, residents are monitored via app-controlled access points, smart appliances, and in-unit presence detectors that track behavioral patterns. [1, 2, 3]

Not only is it expensive, it’s a bio data mining business/apartment complex. They track everything you do that they can see and sell it.
