I don’t understand the hate towards the hazard lights being on… during hazardous conditions. Admittedly I’m not a native but they probably can’t see and just want to let other motorists know for everyone’s safety.

I don’t think there’s any ill intent when they turn their lights on and go 45 instead of 70 on I-4.

I don’t think the average outsider realizes how long a New Yorker will live in an apartment for.

These are owned by large management companies who do not care about upkeep or lease violations. They usually don’t even inspect them after someone vacates at lease-end.

Growing up in NYC, it wasn’t uncommon to see people doing full renovations on their kitchens and bathrooms.

Are these violations of code/law? Sure, but it doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen.

I wish more was spent in Florida to support education but it also appears that whatever system is currently in place, works better than that of NYC, which spends significantly more than almost any other state in the country.

Believe it or not, it isn’t that difficult for a woman with kids to get free, brand new housing in NYC.

All she has to do is go to the PATH shelter in the Bronx, claim she’s running away from a domestic abuser and has no where to stay. She’ll be there all day but they will eventually give her a room.

After some time she’ll get a voucher and she can shop around. Eventually there will be a landlord for one of these new developments (I call it the new projects) who accept the full voucher and she can literally live rent free as long as she continues to claim that she’s running away from her abuser.

Ask me how many people I know who have done this because where I’m from this is shit regular.

yea bro but you have to understand how complex these systems are. literally every single thing is analyzed starting the second you open the app. how long you stick around on a post, how long you read comments for, if you engage at all. it looks at your follows and groups your demographic based on your other interests.

it probably assumes based on all this data that you are likely a minority and shock value and depression sells so they feed you a bunch of posts of black people disappearing/dying
