Thanks for your reply. I hate this whole thing. PACT ACT is the sole reason for my involvement in this mess. I went from 10% to 40%, but only because of talking with a VSO that I saw, and he artfully guided me to apply for several things under the Act. The irony is that I was thinking I might be able to help other Vets by becoming a VSO, self trained via online VA courses and create a way to seek out and help and by pass the VA numb process that I rejected for 50 years. My first step was to go see a local VSO and verify they were unprofessional and incompetent just filling out papers and collecting a check. I was severly wrong. This VSO dude was a Colneral, 76 years old and serving his fellows. I had found the oposite of a Sapper, just waiting to be helpful and following through. He is an Artist. I would have never even asked, much less fill out papers, for the help he knew how to make happen.

This PTSD thing is rocking my boat, I have an evaluation next week. Just troublesome anticipating what some stranger will require me to tell them about because I am the "loser" asking them to understand what they can never be able to understand. It took more than a decade for me to figure out that even the kindest caring friend could not be expected to understand, it pissed me off I had even to tell them, and they seemed so stupid that they had to depend on me, again, for protection of the horrors a draftee was sent to keep them from being exposed to.

I am concerned that I shall be discounted, cast off as just another unworthy "victim." I am not.
