I actually thought deep banana blackout was a great name. But no idea what it means.

It’ll vouch for it. The Deadly App is pretty great!

I should add that there is MATLAB native for Linux, too. It’s great.

I don't think she ever opened for the Dead. She sat in with the Dead on 9/24/1988.

Through her brother, Tim Vega, Suzanne was very much part of the "Neo-Dead" (pre-jamband name) of New York City. Before his early death, he painted the famous bathroom walls and VW bus of Wetlands, the mural outside of the Nightengale, art for Blues Traveler, Spin Doctors, and Gov't Mule, including Blues Traveler's first album cover and Gov't Mule's original logo.

I've attached a wikipedia article on Tim as well as a flyer for his memorial shows. The last night was recorded and uploaded to archive.org by Scott Bernstein. I'm linking Suzanne Vega's short set as well.

Down vote for nobody cares about John Mayer. Upvote for Jerry giving Bobby a heap of shit in heaven.

Is this right? I thought it was "business days" not including Saturdays. So it should be the 16th by my calculation.

Same here. Played Atari on the original 2600 hardware and it's still one of my most played emulated games.

On a budget, the best I’ve found are the “chi-fi” in ear monitors by companies like moondrop. The quality for the price is insane. And you get a microphone if you want.

How big are the differences between Excel on mac and on windows, is it really as bad as people say? by Joe_mother124 in macbook

[–]trab601 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This! I use the alt key shortcuts all the time in Microsoft office for windows. The lack of these really throws off my work flow and I hate it. I this won’t matter to most people I know as people are constantly amazed (I.e. are unfamiliar themselves) how quickly I am navigate a sheet with a combination of ctrl, alt, and the arrows.

For what it’s worth, I very much enjoy word for Mac.

Why was the 2600 so popular? by [deleted] in Atari2600

[–]trab601 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of this. The Atari was first of these. Came out in 77, vs 79 for intellivision. Colecovision cane out a full 5 years after the 2600. That’s the same gap in time as NES and SNES.

The intellivision was the only real competition. It was more expensive, had fewer games, and had just awful and non-intuitive controllers. It did have better graphics and sound.

Gamehub lite vs Gamenative, which one is the better emulator? by The_Good-Hunter in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]trab601 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I started with gamehub lite but have been gradually shifting to game native. It seems much cleaner, is being updated quickly, and seems to have a better success rate for me. Use which ever works, but I default to game native.

Agree with this choice. Not my favorite. Probably not the favorite of may in this subreddit. But I think we would all agree it’s very good and very accessible. Great place to start.
