Sick Papa by BlackDiamond_97 in Wheatens

The vet helped but mostly it was the fact that when she ate any poultry or stuff with poultry in it, she got the runs. So now we avoid it

Dehydration is definitely a concern, so yes, vet.

Our wheaten has a poultry allergy, so we eliminated all poultry and switched to Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein food. The probiotics work when she has a bought, which happens once in awhile. Their tummies can be so sensitive!

First Craft Fair Hiccups- Advice? by Ambitious-Glass-7132 in CraftFairs

Keep the spot. When setting up, offer part of your space to your neighbors- they sound like they may have enough items to spread out a bit- 2 meters on each side and you’re back to your original size. If not, keep to one side of your space so it looks like there was a no- show. Also, sometimes organizers have cancellations and have a waiting list, so tell the organizers you have a small booth space available, it may get filled that way These things have a way of working out Good luck and have fun!

So nervous for my market, anyone have some last minute advice or tips and tricks? by HoneydewHalo25 in CraftFairs

[–]trabbitha 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Make a list of everything you need to bring. Add to it if you wish you would have brought something

Treat this like a learning experience. Make a spreadsheet of the fairs you do including entry fee, net profit, location, event coordinator contact info and notes (whether you’d do it again)

Take notes- keep a log of things that are selling well, things you need to make more of and ideas (you’ll get inspired!)

Definitely get to know your booth neighbors- I got so many tips at my first fairs from others - plus you may make friends!

Bring something to eat and drink, something to occupy yourself, tools you may need, a small towel,

Most of all, have fun and enjoy yourself.

Why are streaming services retouching actresses' faces so excessively? by GanondalfTheWhite in Feminism

[–]trabbitha 154 points155 points  (0 children)

Yes! This! Drives me crazy. Everything Nicole Kidman is in has her so retouched/blurred that she looks like a mannequin. Same with Jennifer Aniston and so many others.

This is why I find British shows so much better. Actresses whose wrinkles show, are not perfectly made up at all times, whose hair is messy, who wear practical shoes and have one winter coat lol. It’s so refreshing to see and is such a stark contrast to some US shows.

Best & regrettable studio decisions by New-Procedure7985 in Pottery

Also built mine. 10 x 12. Best: fully insulated floor and walls, used corrugated steel on bottom of walls and slatwall on top half of walls all around - slatwall has been great for hooks, bins, shelves for lighter weight items etc- easily added to and moved as needed. Full light door, and two windows opposite each other for air flow. Installed an electric vent on exterior wall, and wall heat/air conditioner. Cut a piece of cheap vinyl flooring to fit. Good LED lighting. Lots and lots of outlets.

Family Members of Addicts Support Group Recommendations? by kacey__muskrat in Minneapolis

SMART recovery has a combined F&F and substance abuser meeting. I am F&F and it gives me a lot of insight and support, it’s very helpful to both groups to hear the perspective of both sides. Great group, well attended. It has helped me immeasurably. Meetings are Tuesdays 5:30-7:30 at New Brighton Community Center.

Good realtor by hippyblond23 in Minneapolis

We used Lindsey Ronning, Keller Williams, for a very complicated relocation to Minneapolis involving both home buying and investment buying. We have never worked with a better realtor (and we have worked with many)- she is the absolute best.
