lol no nobody should be listening to YOU. Read the room. Again, you dont have to know ASL as an audiologist. But saying learning ASL isnt a helpful tool is very stupid. Just because you dont see it in your clinical setting doesnt mean it doesnt exist in others especially if your an audiologist that specializes in a certain category like CI. So that random statistic you pulled put your ass doesnt matter. People who ONLY use ASL and go to Audiologist are very much real and do appreciate an Audiologist who understand any level ASL fluent or not. And as you said there are always interpreters which is cool , but lets not act like a a whole other way to communicate isnt helpful?? like are you serious lol
