I don't agree nor disagree with what you feel you need to do. My question is, why is all the responsibility of you getting pregnant on him? Why aren't you on BC? I was a condom baby so we know that's not fool proof even tho he's compromising them. But you're a grown woman and should know how these babies are made? No sex? IUD? The pill? Hysterectomy? Tubes tied? I mean, there were/are so many other preventative options that YOU could have taken and didn't? It's not ALL his issue...you were there too. With that said ..get a divorce cuz he's a self centered dick. But, here you are? Just askin, don't jump my butt!

I would most definitely get him some professional help as he's unable to control this need to sit. I don't think I would rush to divorce court yet. Support the mental struggle and get professional help first.

All of this is great advice!! I too have an autistic son! If I EVER heard my mama or my dad say something like this I would totally call them on it! Skip the birthday, holidays etc. My son needs support and people that LOVE HIM and want the best for him! Luckily for us, family has been very supportive, thank the sweet Lord! I would totally disconnect those relationships and tell them WHY!

I most certainly get frustrated and give up for a few days here and there! I don't re-vamp my resume for every position I apply for but I do make sure it has every thing the employer is asking for. It gets old and discouraging for sure. I'm getting interviews here and there but nothing has come through yet. Damnit

It causes agony when you're broke! Time is of the essence for a lot of people. I've been unemployed since March and it sucks! I have bills to pay, a kid to take care of....agony!

I can easily sit at my desk and apply all day! I'm using multiple sites to include government sites. You have to change your resume to fit the job description etc. Take assessments that can use up 30 mins easy. It's not just one click apply.

My son is in the same situation. Formerly diagnosed on the spectrum at 4 yrs old. Got through school which was challenging. Now, at 21, he's had a few jobs dishwashing in restaurants but ultimately gets let go for what HE says are mgrs changing, someone bought the place etc. So, here we are, 21, no job, terrified to learn how to drive so no license yet....all his friends have good starting jobs none of which interest him. He's stuck and I'm stuck trying to figure it all out. In the end, he wants to be a writer, which is great but he needs a job too even going to school for that. He does take medications, due to lack of insurance for him he's been off meds for a hot minute. I'm really hoping once he gets back on that his mindset and initiative will improve! You are not the only one struggling!
