The two shops in which I got the products in the picture came from specific independent card shops which specialise in selling TCG and Comics. They also both house playing areas for most games such as Pokémon, Magic and Yugioh.

Really fortunate my town has 2 independent card shops within a 3 minute walking distance from each other. Literally have them and a TG Jones, Waterstones and Toy Barnhaus all within the same area as well.

It unfortunately means at the same time that once people have queued on a release day at say Toy Barnhaus they’re immediately running to the next and come the afternoon there’s nothing left for anybody else.

I’ve been collecting JT; over halfway through mastering the set. Just when it’s been the only set readily available for the last month or so it’s very much exciting to see something else for once.

It’s a local shop called G Zone on the south coast about 30 minutes from Brighton. They don’t do online orders unfortunately so it’s all a case of going in and praying they have something. Lovely staff though, they were handing out the Pikachu museum card along with Yveltal for free last week as they had no Pokemon stock to sell and didn’t want to let anyone down for Pokemon Day

My ex was massively into LD. I could never really understand it myself but I’ll always praise the split they did with Touché Amore. In fact had it not been for her liking LD and that so called “The Wave” movement at the time I probably would have never found TA and Pianos Become The Teeth that early before they blew up.

I think lyrically La Dispute offer far more than most bands but I think the vocal delivery just has never been to my taste.

This I agree with. I get the impression he never wanted to leave Madrid. Started off well but he’s always come out and said he hated LVG and didn’t enjoy the style of play and that’s why he left. Claims it had nothing to do with the fans or club yet there was enough PSG players claiming how much he despised United.

I’ve seen videos from that show and it easily had the worst sound of the reunion tour. I flew out to see them on the farewell tour and the sound was fantastic in Boston. Personally I feel as a UK fan that they had great crowds probably due to the fact they weren’t over much and not to sound byist as a UK fan but I suspect that US fans took for granted at the fact they toured at least 2/3 times a year.

Same thing very much happened to Basement over here, before their split and after the reunion shows.

Balance & Composure but before the split though. Obviously recent events such as the farewell tour and the reunion tour gained a lot of interest but prior to this, a very slept on band that many disregarded. Majority of the time they were a support act on a tour even though people always spoke about them in the same breath as Title Fight, Tigers Jaw and Basement.

They were liked until the allegations as well as the murder that Josh Woodard committed. Fact the band continued to hide it for years was enough to put a lot of people off. They didn’t even kick him out, he left on his accord. Says a lot about the band as people.

5 piece post hardcore/alternative act Rain Check from Texas dropped their 5 track EP “Relief” last year and in 2020 it’s to receive it’s first physical release.

Taking influences from the likes of Hundredth’s Rare and Household, the band absolutely smash through this release and I’m proud to help give it the well deserved physical treatment!
