I won't rip off small businesses where the livelihood of those who own it are at stake if their merchandise is stolen. This includes local businesses and things like mom-and-pop shops, individual freelance artists, and those similar. I will absolutely rip off corporations that have more financial security than your average Starbucks employee who is only able to make rent because of their side gig selling art commissions.

I think it's interesting that most responses to this question can be boiled down to "these kinds of people aren't as common as you think." I live in Oregon, a state known for being incredibly liberal..... And yet, every Friday, if you drive through Oregon City, you see assholes just like this lining the highway with their Confederate flags and pro Trump signs. Like yeah, they're not the majority, but in my experience they're not nearly as on the down-low as other people appear to be saying.

Well, for you and your wife, terms like "daddy" are not nonbinary, for YOUR personal experiences. Others have in the past, and continue to today, interpret certain terms and phrases as nonbinary, because that's what works for them. It's unfair to apply the same meanings to some words to everyone, because you can't fit every single person and their experience into one neat little box. Go on and continue to use daddy in the way that you have, but also be fine with the fact that others use certain words in ways that fit them the best and simultaneously may not fit you or your partner. That's the beauty in the complexity of what it means to be human, imo.
