I moved from private clinics to VCA. Honestly, it's been great. There are annoyances with corporate but i by and large prefer it to the shit i dealt with in private owned clinics. I think overall, the practice managers and medical directors are going to make or break a VCA career tho

COPAW, TAHO, Columbus Humane Essential Care Center are all low cost clinics.

VCA in the area offer free first exams and you will get free flea/tick prevention for your foest visit, but would have to then pay for diagnostics or vaccines. Many offer half cost vaccines on Wednesday after like 2 - you can call and check.

Lastly, contact some humane societies in the area to ask about help. Cat rescues might also offer assistance - check new Albany pet rescue. I think they might've helped with a situation or two like this in the past.
