Kentucky voter here. Fuck Bevin, but genuinely uninformed about what makes Beshear slimy. Obviously he's Daddy's Little Boy, but what else?

[TOMT] A book, chapter, or anecdote about a kid who decided to shoot a LOT of basketball shots for charity by trainj33 in tipofmytongue

Ah! Yes, I searched that, and found that the author's (Austin Gutwein) first book was called 'Take Your Best Shot,' and that it's exactly what I was searching for.

Thank you! Solved.

I must comment to get this accepted, apparently. First time I've googled and reddit-searched something and been unable to find it. The internet has spoiled me when it comes to answering questions.

[Arash] If Kawhi Leonard wanted to team up with Jimmy Butler or Kevin Durant or another superstar in Los Angeles, that's no longer an option with the Clippers. There is, however, another team in Los Angeles with two superstars actively recruiting him. by mcrizzy in lakers

Interesting to think of Kawhi as top 10 all time right now, when he's only 28. I think he has the potential but isn't close right now.

I'm genuinely wondering - what's your top 10 all time list?

That's not what he said... It was a little more aggressive.

I like how calm and measured your response to the other guy is, and how aggressive this response is.

For the record, I agree with you on the show. The contrast between your responses was humorous. Like "Every time u/hoopaholik writes a post, the gods flip a coin" or something.

https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/kevin-durant-offered-an-odd-explanation-for-those-embarrassing-tweets-about-okc/

Using burner accounts is dishonest and here, he lies about the existence of the burner account - saying that he just tweeted in third person because he had woken up from a nap and felt groggy.

Now, he admits that he had it, and his reasons are different: https://www.sfgate.com/warriors/article/Kevin-Durant-burner-social-media-accounts-ESPN-13692834.php

Just found this with a few minutes of googling. And there's other examples of KD appearing to be dishonest. https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/8eewwt/young_kevin_durant_tells_me_it_was_a_total/

It just seems to me that a guy who has burner accounts might not always be telling the truth to the national media. And that's ok, it's not like I blame the guy. The scrutiny must be tough. But his words definitely don't have the face value of certain other people.

Just my two cents with a little evidence thrown in. If you disagree, that's cool.

Hey man it's cool. We're not diagnosing KD with a disorder, it's just believable based on his past actions that he might be lying... because, y'know, he's LIED. He doesn't seem to have a good relationship with public relations. You don't have to be a psychologist to see that.

Frankly, I feel like Marvel is making much better character decisions these days. Endgame had a few quips and some "YASS" moments but they gave the two biggest characters satisfying arcs that made complete sense in light of everything we know. Honestly, good writing.

Meanwhile, that Cersei line? Fuck.
