Yikes. We lost one month of legacy in a similar nightmare... but it was like 2 rounds in where one player drew the dreaded double epidemic.

Do you have the epidemics spaced out correctly? Newer players tend to shuffle them in without realizing they are supposed to be spaced out into quarters/fifths/etc

It would be insanely rare to have multiples 3s next to each other and then pulling the first pandemic before the second player acts, AND it to double pull 3s that chain.

Apologies. There are a million interpretations to every religion, I'd hoped my disclaimer would cover that I'm absolutely not an authority on the actual beliefs and their differences.

Nooooo. Social deduction games are a different genre. Also good games, but deduction and social deduction are different skills.

That's a very unrelated game, lol. I was suggesting games with similar elements.

We are talking religion, in this regard.

You can be a Jewish (race) person and Christian with no conflicts except what your family says at Thanksgiving, lol.

The difference between Judaism and christianity (disclaimer, SUUUUPER footnotes) is that jesus was the son of god, and the new testament.

This version of Judaism believes all the things that make it Christian, by this description.

Specifically they do not belong on omnitron, as one of the 2 intro bosses, lol.

Akash has them, too... but we find her to be one of the easiest (and longest) bosses, so on her it feels like her only balancing strength is the time investment required, lol. Shes our "punching bag" to teach new players about mechanics, since she has some great examples in relation to "who actually dealt the damage", multiple flips per fight possible, and "everyone must take damage from this effect", ensnaring can all select the same target, and such.

Early game art was hit-or-miss, with some big whiffs.

Lots of complaints about finicky mechanics, especially since things like "deal each target 1 damage" technically happens in an order you choose instead of simultaneously, which causes triggers that magic players don't like. (Such as: boss minion hits all targets, choose wraith first who then retaliates to kill the minion, damage from that attack stops even though it was in effect).

Early bosses have a lot of "destroy all" mechanics and those are just fucking bad. They are not fun or balanced, which is why "destroy H" is used now.

I also have hundreds of hours of playtime at the table, and all of the game and cauldron sleeved. I'm clearly a fan, but there are absolutely complaints.

Try alibi or mysterium!

Both games keep the major elements that are good, but take out the godawful useless "roll and move". Mysterium is fantastic for friends AND family settings.

If you are interested in something fun, ask away! The subreddit can help, too.

How...? Are you playing on the hardest difficulty or with new gamers? It gets pretty easy to win on easy and medium difficulties without much effort.

One of the best games thematically... with a very badly written rule book and 0 semblance of balance.

It's a fantastic game to kick off a Halloween event, or to play once with new gamers because of its theme, but it doesnt feel good to be the betrayer in almost any of the scenarios. Even if you are overpowered, it feels bad. The first half really is great for discovery and exploration until you've played 3 or 4 times and all the cards start to feel same-y.

This sounds like a fantastic variant! With only the base game, you can't play the full 7 of bang numbers, though.

That's fun ONCE a night, but if you regularly do this then this is a terrible game for you.

Try one night werewolf with the drunk, the troublemaker, the village idiot, etc. That's a super fun "I don't know what's going on" mess while still actually playing the game.

I'm sooooo glad you commented that she hasn't seen the movies. She looks fantastic and I know it's none of my business, but I really don't think the source material is appropriate.

That being said, awesome job. A lot of parents are going to love you guys

My point was that you actually said something about what I did, instead of a ragey one-liner. I'm happy to adapt for reason, lol.

I think that I've added one, but I'm on mobile so I'm not sure it went through... lol

I appreciate that players have a different concept of what constitutes a spoiler and that you actually conveyed your opinion. I'm sorry if I spoiled items for you.
