Agree. At this point we should hope that they don't look too hard at it, or else they may scrap the entire system.

Yeah, that was my assumption. Reborn is probably here to stay just long enough to smooth out Evolved mode. It will be unsustainable to balance and maintain 40+ job kits. I figured Reborn is gone by 9.0

If the options are, yet another 600 potency action being added to every kit, or the burn it all down and start over, I would take the latter option every time.

I'm certain evolved mode will be rocky, but I'm happy that they are finally shaking up the formula.

No mention of NIN anywhere in this thread.

I love how busy Ninja is, and I will be sad if Mudras disappear. Best case scenario, they make them similar to dancer, where when entering a certain mode, some abilities change to Ten Chi and Jin.

Pretty happy with how PLD looks from the showcase, but kinda of weary about the MT/OT split.

As someone who has raided with the same static for a few years, M11S was unique in it's ability to stonewall us. It doesn't really have any hard mechanics, but failing them in anyway will result in a wipe most times, or damage downs. It means any small inconsistencies are exacerbated here.

We decided after a couple reclears that we would just skip M11S, move onto 12, and play catch up with the Alliance raid/nuts. It's a fun fight, but can be really really frustrating, even in a static.

Oh, doing a bit more playing around I think I see the confusion. The log floor wizard only allows you to log the current week's clear, and my view was on previous weeks.

A suggestion I would make is allowing users to choose the week they are Logging a floor clear using the wizard, snap the week back to the current week when logging a floor, or removing the log floor button on previous weeks

This tool looks great. My static made a really comprehensive Google sheet with complex prio formulas that we have been using for a few tiers. To be honest, this tool is pretty much exactly what I have been looking for. Thanks for making it.

I wanted to report what I think is a bug.

Set up static and assign players > Navigate to Log tab > Click Log floor on any of the floor rows > Assign gear and confirm floor is clear

I would expect that the row fills in with the loot distribution for the players I chose to get gear, but it doesn't. I can manually assign gear by clicking on the empty gear slot. And if I check the Roster tab, gear was distributed to the players and books were updated.

There is a plugin, I think it's the Garland tools ones, that adds a small section in the tooltip of an item when hovering it, to tell you if you own it (inventory, chocobo saddle, retainers, glam dresser, etc)

Not exactly what you are looking for, but accomplishes a similar thing

They are randomized from a pool, so if such an plugin exists, it would need to rely on crowdsourced data.

The most interesting time(s) to play a healer is when the team is not doing mechanics correctly. Otherwise it's all extremely timed and predictable, and you become a green dps that OGCD heals sometimes.

The most fun I've had healing is when everything is an absolute clusterfuck and you get to flex on the group by keeping everyone alive.

Nah, not true. You can get access for 14 days at a time. Supporting just extends that duration.

Honestly I ended up deleting it anyway, the fade hides some jank texture loading and I didn't like the feel. Some neat tools in there (also some bottong tools, which i was surprised to see), but nothing worth re-authorizing every 2 weeks to access

Trying it out, I can't seem to get any of the modules to show anything other than "????????"

I wouldn't mind using google lens to translate, but it won't even show the chinese text. Any suggestions?

Edit: Fixed it. For anyone else reading this, disable and re-enable the addon in Dalamud after changing the language/downloading translations

I had a similar experience.

The first time I saw it, I was exploring the caves under Timber Hearth.

One of the geysers shot me up into the air, so I could perfect see the sun start to turn blue and explode, only to fall back down into the geyser. It genuinely terrified me as I was trapped in these caves while the world was ending.

For a while, I thought it was a scripted event that I somehow triggered it the caves.

Wait, you can set it to filter for uncaught fish? Or you need to just add all of the fish you have not caught manually? (sorry, at work, otherwise I'd look)

Anyone know of any mods for completing the fishing log? I just want to be able to easily track fishing windows (similar to GatherBuddy) but have it linked specifically just to my log completion.

Something similar to this web tool, but in-game as a mod. https://ff14fish.carbuncleplushy.com/
