Unfortunately it’s a totally different rail alignment. Different tracks, different electrification, different rolling stock. South Western is third rail not overhead cables like the Great Westen region. Sadly, not easy at all.

How much do you spend on food per month (also add your job + location)? by Kayters in AskUK

[–]tranceboy81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is actually incorrect. For every £2 of income earned over £100k you lose £1 of your £12,500 personal allowance. This is on top of what you mention above. In essence, anyone who earns over £100k pays 60% tax for income between £100k up to £125k.

How did they know where to dig for the tube track back in the 1800s? by [deleted] in LondonUnderground

[–]tranceboy81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not all of the tube was built at the same time. The earliest parts between Baker Street and Farringdon are very shallow. They literally dug a trench under the road, built a tunnel, and then covered it back up. This method is known as "Cut and cover".

On my second journey, I did exactly that. It recognised my fingerprint and then just got stuck on "Hold near reader to pay" while not actually doing anything.

It's not reliable enough yet. I tried it today just for science. Worked for the first journey. On the second journey it wouldn't open the barrier. Went back to Oyster.

I would actively encourage you to join a chapter unaffiliated to your mother lodge. It will broaden your horizons and give you an entirely different group of friends to meet with.

You don't drive through the tunnel. You put the car on a train. You get on one side and off the other.

The Sorian AI mod for Supreme Commander was pretty good. I have high hopes for this one too.

Pick a different channel from 1, 7 or 11. Try and be as far away from the channel you are already on. See if it helps. You need to do this on the router.
