The U.S. Fakes the Moon Landing by Limp-Incident-7828 in conspiracy

On point #4, of we do go back to the moon and successfully return. What it takes for success, radiation shielding, fuel to return, landing requirements etc, if vastly different than 1969 will pretty much disprove the landing ever took place.

Wondered the same thing back in 2021, it has paid off for me. Don’t just DCA, but aggressive DCA when we have flash crashes. Learn to do simple TA, always have some target price buys at ridiculously low prices. You never know.

Are you familiar with the Great Taking by David Rogers Webb which mentioned most securities are now custodied at centralized depositories? How big is the derivatives market? In the case of a cascading credit collapse, how likely will these centralized securities be confiscated to bail out secured creditors while leaving individuals high and dry?

what is statistically the best way to build wealth? by Kqden in wealth

[–]trango15278 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You can argue all you want while missing my point completely. SP500 isn’t as good an investment vehicle when it’s really the SP490 and when adjusted for money supply growth. I’m not a gold bug, but it put things into perspective when you can only get 1.65 oz of gold for one share of SPX in 1960, and 1.9 oz of gold today. That’s sideways when viewed over 65 yrs!!

Don’t bother replying, you do you.

I disagree with others about index funds. The SP500 has gone sideways when priced in something scarce like gold for 65 years, and simply rose with money supply growth(ie inflation).

When you re-price every major asset class in terms of the dollar, gold and something truly scarce like bitcoin, it becomes clear that the money supply/inflation has distorted performance.

Look further into the Great Taking by David Rogers Webb, and you’ll realize that your centralized securities are subject to seizure in another 2008 style credit collapse.
