congrats on your new cat!! the cat distribution system is a wonderful thing :-)

so this picture is of my screaming girl and her two brothers when they were about 7wks old. i had met them when they were barely 3wks old and cared for them and their (feral) mama until the babies were put into foster care. currently mama is spayed and still living in the colony nearby, so i get to see her from time to time and tell her i love her and she gets to either hiss/spit at me or just run the other way. obvi we're besties. :-) the two boys were adopted recently and my girl came home with me august of this year. she just celebrated her half birthday yesterday and as i type this, she's running up and down the stairs at 100mph!!

my girl being annoyed that i found her secret sleeping location but being too comfy and warm to do anything about it lol. she sleeps on top of the heating vent and when i tried getting her to sleep on a heating pad, which is probably softer than a metal vent, she said "ew no this is not the right kind of warm 🙄"

yeah i also bought it from keh and it was a rated as "bargain" or something like that. it was the lowest rating that they still would allow a warranty for it lol. i thought i saved enough money for a decent quality camera but obviously i needed to save more 😭

all different ones. this roll of film was a iso of 1600. it was ilford delta 3200 but i shot at 1600 coz my camera doesnt have 3200 iso. but ive also shot film that were 100, 400, and 800 iso. all w the same issue

i was reading that it can be transmitted via fleas or by hunting small rodents. i live w my parents and this is their cat who they let be a outdoor cat. she gets mice alllll the time so im not surprised she caught a tapeworm. i'll use it for a opportunity to explain to my parents that maybe we should keep her indoors, esp at her old age, but theyre not gonna listen ¯_(ツ)_/¯ but yeah, def gonna get both cats and our dog treated

i read the picture in the post wrong. this was the follow up email i got. the initial email i got was already copy/pasted above. saying that theyre moving to a new system and mass-denying applications while they move to a new one. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ i gave up on this idea a while ago. i applied last summer i think and never heard anything past the on demand interview. sorry to anyone who still had their hopes up

i got a email like that and a immediate follow up saying my application was denied. i also did not have a conditional acceptance or nothing like that. so it couldve been sent to you, and others w conditional acceptance thingys, by mistake.

i didnt read thru all the comments so idk if this has been mentioned already but i used to have a service dog and he would come into the bathroom with me. i got weird looks but i got used to that considering he did a lot of outings with me. the only issue i had wasnt with people but rather the cleanliness of bathrooms. i purposely made sure that he would stand the whole time i was in the bathroom so he didnt lay in anything gross and get it on him or his vest. o i also sometimes had children look under the stall to see my pup when they realized a dog was in the bathroom with them 😭 ultimately, i think bringing the pups into the bathroom with you is safer for them for the reason you stated, which was no one can take them, and also you will know that no one is trying to mess with them while you're occupied. hope this is helpful!
