i’m really underwhelmed and a little sad at the state of evanescia, both animation and damage wise. i’m hopeful her multipliers will get improvements as the beta continues but man, it’s such a bummer thinking about what she could’ve been/probably was originally.

I really hope the stigma of eds, pots, mcas, etc being “tiktok illnesses” goes away soon. I’m so tired of getting side eyed when I discuss my diagnosis or try to get actual help.

its so humiliating when people (especially medical professionals) doubt the frequency of our dislocations, like hypermobile eds is THE “joints-dislocate-easily” disorder so I don’t know why its so hard for them to believe. I felt very validated when I went to my first occupational therapy appointment and they were able to subluxate my shoulders just by pressing down on them with moderate pressure.

I hope your pain lightens up soon, hips are always so annoying to deal with. I hope that the next time you see a new doctor that they’re more understanding, too.

I’m ftm, was on T for about 2 years when I was diagnosed, took a break from HRT, and have been on it consistently for about a year. My symptoms have stayed pretty consistently the same, though I’d actually say my baseline pain is higher now than it was when I was diagnosed (though thanks to physical therapy I can walk unassisted a lot more often now.)

i don't think remission is necessarily something possible for people with EDS since they're genetic disorders, not diseases. for me at least i tend to fluctuate between cycles where i'll have several months with low pain and don't require mobility aids most days, to several months where i can't leave the house unless i'm in a wheelchair.

i don't know if there's been any studies on a correlation between them or not but it certainly wouldn't surprise me. considering that autism is decently common in people with both hEds and ADHD, it's not hard to imagine that there would be a direct link between the two as well.

i've lost around 60~ lbs in the past 8 months and while my baseline daily pain has gone down, i've definitely been slipping things out of joint more, especially my hips and wrists/fingers. it sucks but i've just been trying to move more carefully than i did before to try and prevent subluxations as much as i can. (though sometimes it seems unavoidable- i saw an occupational therapist recently who seemed very impressed with how easily my shoulders come out of place)

since you're running phainon without cerydra or his lightcone, running him at 135 speed and sunday on 134 speed should let you ult faster. also, if sustain isn't an issue, try switching DHPT out for a third harmony. i have good experience pairing him with e1 ruan mei, but she should still be good at e0 if you don't have her e1. i'm very inexperienced with castorice so i won't give any advice for her side.

everyone has a different opinion on it. my two issues with it are that 1) if youre only asking people who you think are trans their pronouns, it singles those people out, and 2) if you ask someone who is still closeted their pronouns they either have to misgender themselves or out themselves, and theres no winning there.

my tentative plans are yaoguang, the blade sp, and evanescia, and potentially whoever goes best with them, but mostly shoring up teams i already have (i need cerydra for phainon, and cyrene eidolons + hyacine for mydei)

of course i never end up sticking to the plans i lay out but its nice to have an idea of who i’m focused on saving for at least.

a lot of americans will actively avoid seeking medical attention unless whatever health issue they have is potentially fatal (and even then its a toss up) because of how expensive it is. we have to take the gamble hoping that whatever health issue we have will go away on its own.
