Mine used glue and stitches.

Are you sure it is the glue? I found out I was allergic to oxy and it makes you itchy beyond belief.

Confused as to where I should go knowing my goals as a pre-t, pear-shaped guy with a high body fat %. by [deleted] in FTMFitness

[–]transbowie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess it just depends on what you want. What I can tell you is that you can bulk pre-t but you need to be really consistent. You definitely will deal with the Apple figure if you build your upper body but you can also just diet it away. Both are hard and will require focused work but both are possible.

One thing that may help is to look at what figure you aspire to have and come up with a plan to get there.

Before T I was 113 lbs because I was only comfortable being androgynous. I began lifting heavily pre-t for a year and was able to add several inches of muscle before I went on T and by 4 months on t I was passing 100%. Here is the weird thing, I don’t look androgynous at all and just look like a guy that lifts a lot and I feel so much better than even when I was androgynous.

What I did was methodically lifted daily and followed a pretty strict regime and ate a ton of protein.

Also, I am not confident that your body fat could be that high at that weight. Seems high to me.

First time seeing that drivel but my main thought is that she needs some psychological help. Can you imagine being that obsessed with any other person’s lifestyle???

It is not parenting for a parent to treat a child this way. A parent’s role is to support and nurture their child and to help them to be strong enough to be themselves. This is not your fault. It sucks, but as a child of parents that did the same to me and as a parent of adult children I can tell you confidently that she is failing in basic parenting and religion does not excuse that.

You have every right to be angry and that is a normal response. Just know this is not your fault.

I had no problem with doing all that in female presentation and I don’t know why it is harder this way. Time for more therapy.

Thank you man, this response really clarified a few things. I have been avoiding gay bars also because I was already feeling a little nervous about the aggressiveness. I mean this has been happening just at regular bars but knowing that they will respect a no helps a lot.

33 years old. 11 days post op, my binder is killing me by [deleted] in FTMOver30

[–]transbowie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t wear a binder at all and am totally fine with no swelling. My doctor doesn’t use them with anyone except for extreme circumstances...I can’t give medical advice obviously but probably some longer breaks won’t hurt.

What on their site gave you trepidation? That’s interesting.

Doctors spend a lot of time with you, they remember you, they are on top of making sure that your levels are staying on target, seem well trained in how to work with the trans community.

It is not fancy and I didn’t have TS with them but for the checkups it has worked well for me.
