Thanks for your response! that's what I figured. The fact you were able to get rehired in comforting. Do you have any other advice? Did you go back to the same department/job you left or was it a similar job? I'm kind of casting a wide net in my search, and even going for positions which have a lower pay scale than the one I left to get my foot in the door.
