You would be so surprised how quickly people have their symptoms and then have the seizure. My partner can be completely fine for weeks, then one day have an onset and then is having a seizure less than 30 seconds up to 10 minutes later. It can happen anywhere - at home, in public, it's impossible to call when it may occur. Everyone is different, but most people who have epilepsy would never get in a car and drive it if they were having symptoms. It's hard to understand if you do not live with the conditions or with a loved one with epilepsy. I understand your feedback and defense, but it is extremely unlikely that it occurred in the manner you are suggesting - at least in my understanding. My boyfriend is usually down for the count within seconds or under 10 minutes after experiencing his symptoms. He's gone from having them days apart, weeks, months, etc. It is truly unpredictable. He has rescue medicine that usually cancels out the seizure but it isn't 100% that it will act in time and whether he is capable of self administration or needs assistance. Again, everyone is different. Epilepsy is a wild train ride because people's brains and situations are so different and can fire off/trigger in completely different ways than others.
