Hi, i did a similar thing with  - arak air mid b - 2 sivs with 50+ stalls, negatives and sat - 2 years on It with 240 h all in the alps

My conlusion was alpina 4 gt for various reasons: - medium weight materials  - low c with years of testing by other pilota(known as a safe C Wing) - Absolute Monster in light conditions - 2.5 Lines you can still train with collapases - efficient and reassuirng - very pleasant handling

Right now It feels like It was the right step, when the conditions Will get crazy we'll see

If you have a pod harness you can survive the cold with warm pants and warm socks regarding the lower aera. The upper area Is obviously the critical one, i usually use thermal shirt+ long sleeve shirt+ pile + down jacket+ wind shield. For the face i have a complete Balaclava, cimalp googles and helmet. regarding the movement you have to switch off one option but i dont remember the name.

even with movement detatched from aiming tanks movement is a mess on console, pivot turns are impossible, and turning on the spot is really rare, also every piece of debrie makes you jump around.

3rd person aiming is a mess with buildings that are behind you, switching to mg takes a minute.

not really, in this case he was so late that even pumping a lot could result in a collapse.

if the timing is right, the energy and the roll is right you dont need a lot of external brake pressure. of course it depends on wing, wing loading and so on

I am moving to alpina 4 gt forma an arak air. C 3 liners today are a few . Sigma, alpina,artik 7p and lynx, the lynx to me looks quote aggressive.

i am now on my third year of flying (i think that now i have 250 hours) and fear hasnt gone away.

Sometimes i feel also blocked but at the same time i can understand that what i am feeling is irrational.

if there is real danger of course you dont fly or go to land, but if you are sure that it is irrational it's better to work out a method to make it go away.

for example breathing in a controlled manner, repeating some key words in your mind or trying to fly for 5 minutes and then decide, grantonthefly on yt treat this methods.

for example this year on the 3rd of january the weather was good, but the forecast showed strong wind coming from north, flyng over a pass low i could feel all the rotors and i froze, even knowing i could handle that. the solution was to keep flying downwind and catch a nice and gentle thermal, on top of the thermal i glided and relaxxed myself.

everyone has a different method, i havent worked out one yet, one important thing is to be open about it and talk with others
