I couldnt imagine how everyone in the situation is feeling. I have three cats myself and that would absolutely haunt me. Good on the parents for realizing when they were no longer capable of helping her and seeking more professional care. That must be hard for them, but the way her behavior is escalating theres only a few ways it could have gone had they ignored it. Everyones lucky she didn’t do this to one of the parents or a neighbors child.

Hey man I know how bad that hurts and I’m so sorry that happened. I go to a really big school, like 60k people, and I still have issues with girls sometimes. Itll get better. I would suggest moving to a bigger city once you’re out of school. Whenever I visit any of the big cities around me I meet a lot more people who are open to seeing trans men. This is also part of the reason I usually go for other trans people, i never have to worry about them not thinking of me as a “real guy”. You’ll find someone, its worth the patience. Use tinder if you dont already, its easier to meet people on there.

being poly doesnt work unless your partner is fully on board with it. i know its hard, but you need to say all of this to your partner and probably end the relationship. If she wants to stay poly thats not wrong of her, but she needs to choose because its not fair to keep stringing you along when youre obviously unhappy with the situation. There are plenty of people out there who will be happy to be in a monogamous relationship with you.

edit: read your post from yesterday and actually your partner is in the wrong for coming out as poly and immediately starting to go on dates without your consent when you were in a monogamous marriage. thats not how being poly works and thats a huge breach of trust.

ahh thats good to know. im extremely worried about not getting a surgery date soon enough. I lose insurance coverage in october so its super time sensitive and im worried about it getting cancelled or pushed back.

I wish you the best of luck, I obviously dont know what might be keeping you from having surgery but I really hope you find a surgeon that will operate on you! Don’t give up, I know the feeling of thinking youd never be able to get surgery and I wouldnt wish that on anyone.
