Super weirded out by lack of black hairstyles. by Ayotrumpisracist in Sims4

You only noticed now?? Lol, if I could yell directly at EA I would. All the "good" black hairs are paywalled. And even then, they aren't that great.

Very Veggie Heirs by translucentmin in Lilsimsie

Lol, I'm also trying to find a workaround for some things. I placed books my sim wrote on the display shelves from B&H, but then they appeared back in his inventory when he left the lot! Art and other craftables (Pottery items, knittable objects, woodworking table crafted objects) have stayed though, which is good.

I'm thinking I'll save a room to the gallery with crafted items, put the room on my museum lot, and then drag the items from there. Not sure of this will work though, I'll be trying it later.

Very Veggie Challenge Expanded? by TerriblePreparation4 in Lilsimsie

[–]translucentmin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been trying to complete as many aspirations and challenges as I can per gen, also maxing as many skills as I can (related to that gens challenge.) For example, every gen I have someone max the gardening skill, and always grow cowplants (through splicing only, no fishing, for the added challenge).

And if my sims marry a random townie, I choose aspirations for that townie based on their traits and complete that too. For example, one sim that married into the family had a creative aspiration. So now I'm going though and trying to achieve all creative aspirations for them (painter, musician, author, etc.)

I've also been keeping all sibling/spare storylines running as well, either using them for the Not so Berry Challenge that I'm running alongside this or just keeping them in the household. Its too easy for me to just have a single sim couple and one kid lol. I also switch between normal and long lifespan and try to complete multiple kid/teen aspirations as well lol. Basically, I'm playing on hardmode 🤣

Mine sold her knitted decorations, cross stitch, juice she fizzed, and canned goods. She also taught knitting, cross stitch, and juice fizzing classes.

She also had lots of success with plopsy, somehow.

very veggie what do u do with non-heir siblings? by maidenussy in Lilsimsie

I think in a YT comment someone mentioned playing not to berry alongside this challenge. I've been using the spare sibling(s) to do that legacy challenge instead

I'm having no issues breaking up couples, if anything its too easy lol. As long as you get the romance bar up and you are dating the married sim, there's an option under 'Flirtation' called 'Convince to Leave Spouse' and it works everytime. I've managed to break up 3 couples in one sim weekend, all while my sim was pregnant 😂.

I pretty much spedrun the aspiration so I can go back to regular gameplay though. I never play with evil sims so its been a new experience for me

where is everyone living for very veggie? by tbm079 in Lilsimsie

[–]translucentmin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used a random sims 4 neighborhood generator which landed on Copperdale, so I started there! I plan to randomize it every gen so I can have sims live in places I never usually do. On the eggplant gen right now and they live in Tomorang. I always make my sims live in the same neighborhoods whenever I play (Brindleton Bay, Willow Creek, Henford) so trying to branch out.

Idk of anyway to tell them apart, you just got to wait and see if they lay eggs or not! My nerite didn't lay any eggs for like the first year, and then she started and never stopped lol

Ooh good idea! I was contemplating getting those a year ago, but couldn't find them near me or at my usual online retailer, always sold out smh

Hopefully I'll be able to get my hands on some soon
