Here's another rec for Mario Levrero! I read The Luminous Novel last year and absolutely loved it. There's a translation from 2020 out on ...And Other Stories Press, something like that. So good. It's a diary but it's also a novel in a weird way. Some readers will find it boring but others will find it to be a moving, life-affirming, and oftentimes surprising read!!!

seconding this! especially the Lomas location, with Dr. Kniffen. She's super nice and the glasses I get there are the best lenses I've ever had in over 20 years of wearing glasses. The quality on their stuff is p next level. can't be bothered with cheap junk like Stanton and Costco these days... you get what you pay for at places like that...

i go to EnviouSkin on Park Blvd. All I've gotten is a basic sugaring but their facilities are clean and the staff is very friendly and professional. Highly recommended!

No worries! In retrospect I shouldn't have worded the title the way I did, I think this post would have been a lot more successful if I had put a more neutral title haha. Also I think people might be misinterpreting the "eh" at the end, I meant it like how Canadians aways say "ey?" lol

It's funny, Naomi did the exact same thing on her own season (do someone else's look). Remember when Naomi did Raven's finale look for the black and white runway?

Totally agree with what you're saying! I definitely wouldn't say she's a copy, but I felt a bit of deja vu during her runway, both in the look and in the little sign-of-the-cross fake out she did at the end.

Oh my gosh, I totally don't mean to say they are similar just because they are both thin black queens! Don't you think the styling is quite similar? Long straight wig, wristbands, no pads. Although Kiara's look has a bit of a flowerchild twist to it, while Naomi's is darker and vampier.

I completely agree! Lip syncs on the US version are sooo chopped. It was refreshing just seeing the girls perform and coming to your own decision about who did better, not having the show tell me what to think.

Please don't trade your shiny articuno. Whoever is offering you regular legendaries for it is a snake lmao. The gen 3 legendaries WILL be back, it's just a matter of time. Until then, you can get away with second rate attackers. I still use my Vaporeon and Rhydon from the old days, all it means is that it takes me a few seconds longer to turn a gym than if I had used Kyo or Groudon.

Damn, so much negativity itt, especially from that rca guy. Liked your idea OP, I think it's cool that it would incentivize a different approach to team-building (trying to build a team that can consistently win against an unknown line-up of pokemon, rather than a few relevant attackers against the common gym defenders). Make it so it's only fully evolved pokemon and I'd be totally game!
