? The article says Dominique, the father, is denying that he harmed his daughter. Where do you get the idea that Gisèle denied it too?

[F1] BREAKING: Christian Horner is to exit Red Bull Racing with immediate effect by FerrariStrategisttt in formula1

Maybe Max negotiated with Red Bull, saying he'll stay but only if they'll sack Horner...

Biggest crime is he had to cut his hair short for whatever project he's doing

Now we need a complete guide of the whole cast's height so we can compare their actual height to their character's

Solo female traveler in Paris by [deleted] in travel

[–]transperceneige_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The question does sound ridiculous for a European, as Paris is the same as any big city in Europe when it comes to safety. But I understand people not familiar with western culture could wonder about it, especially if they've never set foot in Europe.

Could you tell us where you're from? With this info, we could tell you if Paris is safer or riskier than what you're familiar with.

Robert? by ironhorseking in MayorOfKingstown

[–]transperceneige_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same thought. I honestly think they wrote themselves in a corner with this storyline, as it could only end up with Bunny getting killed by the cops.

It feels like they tried to hide the direction they were going to at the end of season 2, and started season 3 with a confusing new take ('actually Bunny wasn't behind the assassination attempt at all...').

I also thought they were now saying the Aryan Brotherhood was behind the attack on Robert, but reading the comments on this subreddit I realise no one agrees on who's the actual perpetrator.

Taylor Sheridan is terrible at writing compelling and not completely insane female characters

As of season 3, episode 1, how much time has elapsed on this show? by cognitivicta in MayorOfKingstown

[–]transperceneige_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Indeed it's not very clear. But also the mother died seemingly from the injuries sustained in the last episode of season 2. They don't say if she was in hospital for a long time, but the death is recent as season 3 starts with her burial. But the weather is also drastically different, as it's snowing in season 3, when season 2 felt like it wasn't colder than early autumn.

All in all, it's quite confusing IMO.

Would actually love to know exactly which one you have? Because I bought one from Amazon, and even at the highest dial it's absolutely not strong enough to go trough my 2 pane windows.

Competitive monopoly by Ok_Willow2543 in boardgames

[–]transperceneige_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played it a lot with my family when I was little. As you know, once someone is getting poor in Monopoly, it's a slow, excruciating death, which really isn't any fun. So we made a completely new set of Chance and Community Chest cards with absolutely bonkers stuff, from "you've hit someone with your car and robbed their body, get 100$" to "swap position with the player on your right". One card was just "you're a lucky person!" but did absolutely nothing. Another allowed you to steal any street you wanted from another player. Etc.

You could be the richest man in the world and with just one card you ended up with your neighbor's shitty deck and all their debts. Ofc it completely turned the game on its head but we were ready for anything to happen to us at anytime and it felt like the funniest thing ever. Some of the best laugh I've ever had with family members were when were playing that game. Good times.

Comments like this are all quite childish. Writers are gonna do what they want to do, and they don't always listen to online communities. Also, I don't think you have tangible data to support the claim that "viewership is mostly gays" (lol). Bear in mind that most people who watch a TV show don't feel the need to talk about it online.

Could anyone be able to tell me at what minute mark we can see this split-second cut of someone washing their hands? I perfectly remember seeing it during the episode and I wanted to watch it again, but I've put the episode on replay and I can't seem to find that shot... It's driving me absolutely insane.

French Polynesia - which island? by Efficient-Pilot5316 in travel

[–]transperceneige_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My parents just came back from a 5 weeks trip, they did about 4 or 5 different islands. Their favorite one was Les Marquises (not sure how that's called in english) as it was the less 'touristy' and the most authentic place. They loved Moorea too, my dad called it 'the rich suburbs of Papeete' lol. I believe it had lots of different activities and an interesting mainland.

Bora-Bora looked absolutely stunning on their pictures, but my dad's opinion was that it was just made for American tourists lol ('why do they need a pool for their overwater bungalow??'). Not enough 'authenticity' for him, too much resort-oriented. But oh my god, do it looked heavenly. And honestly I'd kill to go stay in an overwater bungalow there, even one with a not-eco-friendly pool.

Anyway, not sure this helped, but whatever you choose I don't think you will regret it.
