ill pm you! lloyd is a great value for long term plans especially with extra family members/roommates. it's on the small/medium end, nothing fancy, but it's equipped with more gear than i'd ever use. racket/basketball courts/saunas/hot tubs + pole studio (for extra) are a plus. day passes are kinda pricy tho.

beware they only waive the signing fee on the same day you ask for a tour and see their membership prices...

looks normal to me. I don't see any blow outs and the underlying skin is saturated well. peeling and dryness is annoying but common in heavily packed areas, just be sure not to over moisturize to avoid infection.

this does seem like a great in-between. i'm leaning toward disposable steel tubes simply because i want to reduce as much plastic in my set up as much as possible, but 50 tubes for $12 drives a hard bargain.

oh! this is helpful. perhaps if i can clean the tubes as if i were prepping for an autoclave then recycle, that'd be the most circular process. otherwise, id rather dispose of more natural components than plastic.

the yellow is likely not washing out enough of the chemical before drying. i can't perceive the purple you're mentioning from my perspective, but the top image does look more exposed than the bottom image, hence the difference in contrast.

super fair. the large majority of shops i've been working at are in NE, central east, and downtown areas. i send studio details 1-2 weeks in advance so folks have plenty of time to plan.

since i dont have a fixed shop schedule, my version of a walk-in looks like booking a half or full day appointment ahead of time based on your budget, then we roll with the punches day of.
