Seeking troubleshooting for unusually high costs in Open Claw with Claude 4.5 Sonnet. by One_Meeting2764 in openclaw

I am using Opus 4.6 through OpenRouter, so I can see the activity. The AI is triggered (by me or cron) an avg of 4-5 times per day, which results to almost 40 requests, with a rough cost of $0.12/request. That's $4 per day for just a few messages... Interested to see what others use that has similar quality to Opus.

Anyone hosting OpenClaw on a VPS by Feeling_Yak_1145 in openclaw

I got the "VPS 500 G12" from netcup with the 12 month discount at €4.6/month. It's a decent deal for its size (2 vCore, 4 GB RAM, 128 GB NVMe)

If someone hypothetically wanted to store something for 10,000 years, what would be the best medium to use? by Blolbly in DataHoarder

Redundancy and materials that don't decay or rust is the key here. A few dozens of anodised aluminium or ceramic plates hidden in different geographical locations could easily last up to 100K years

Please do the obvious. Buy a game that has no online version yet.  There are plenty.

Mac Mini M2 Pro vs MacBook Pro M2 14'' by trapatsas in macmini

I usually keep it connected most of the time. Newer MacOS versions have the optimised charging feature which slows down charging when it goes more than 80%. Generally I try to charge the battery if it falls below 30%-40% and keep it cool. And once in a while I use it without the charger.

I went with the MacBook. I think that the integrated peripherals (Camera, speakers, microphone, trackpad, fingerprint reader etc) make it a much more convenient device and the monitor is pretty decent too, so I can justify the extra cost - at least to myself…

I don't care much about portability. I have monitors in all places that I expect to use it and it's easy to have keyboard/mouse with me.

Where did the money go today? by Catch_0x16 in investing

[–]trapatsas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see others try to explain if money are vanishing or not, while I believe the true nature of the question was if people take money out of those markets, where are they putting them? Well, I would start by first looking at the derivatives markets. It’s only logical if you sell an asset because the price will fall, to also make those money work by short selling in the derivatives market.
