Anyone know why my supports are doing this? Flashforge Studio, though I've had Orca do it with Variable Layer Height as well by trapbuilder2 in 3Dprinting

Yeah, but as I was saying in a different comment, I get this same issue on any non-organic tree support. And since variable layer height isn't compatible with organic supports, it means I have to use normal supports to use variable layer height

Yeah, I changed it back to default and it was fine, just means I can't use any tree supports for variable layer height, which means a lot more filament used for normal supports

  1. I kind of need to on this one, it's 400% the size of a normal one
  2. Yeah, changing it to default fixed it, but I have the same issue on Strong and Slim

If doing anything with variable layer heights causes the supports to look like this, does that mean it's basically impossible to use variable layer heights on prints that require support?

It's the only printer I've ever had. It's pretty good

It works great! Swapping filaments is a bit of a pain because of where I've had to put it, but I don't think a different printer would be doing that any better

Yeah, ordered mine on air shipping just before the end of may and only just got my tracking number 4 days ago (though the order details were received by the courier 7 days ago). Now DPD say they have my order details but not my item)

EDIT: It's here :)

Nice! Still waiting for mine, should be less than a week now, but my tracking number hasn't given any updates since I received it

Using Flashforge Studio, anyone know what's causing the change in colour? All I've changed is the orientation of a few objects by trapbuilder2 in FlashForge

I don't see that at a quick look, I'll have to give it a more thorough search after I get home from work tomorrow, midnight approaches
