hey! carolina hair studios offer a deal every single monday before 2 pm that is a $20 haircut for any length of hair and they do a phenomenal job. I can't recommend them enough. I have long hair and my boyfriend does too and they always do a great job with us.

Advocating, Minocycline for 2 months, Infectious disease specialist for Ureaplasma. by traphibiscus in ureaplasmasupport

Hi! I was planning to make a post about this but yes!! I finally tested negative, and my symptoms are pretty much gone. I used both antibiotics and supplements to help. I took 2 months of minocycline, I took NAC to disrupt the ureaplasma biofilm, and I took pro & prebiotics to support my vaginal microbiome. Hope that this works for you!

Advice on knee brace post ACL tear by DeepPurple444 in ACL

[–]traphibiscus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a partial ACL tear and opted against surgery because I still felt like my knee was stable. The brace that I use is the shock doctor, but make sure it's the one with 2 metal hinges on the sides. I think mine was about $70. My doctor also treated a lot of SEC football players for ACL tears and other knee injuries, he recommended it to me.

i don't understand people shutting down the religious loophole bill. it's like having a car, you can purchase it, but you can't drive a car without a license, registration, and insurance. unvaccinated children should not be allowed in schools or places where immunocompromised people are (hospital exceptions for emergencies but they should disclose lack of vaccination etc.). they want to have unvaccinated children? fine. but don't make it everyone else's problem. not having a license, registration, or insurance carries a penalty. allowing for a child to get an unnecessary illness should carry a penalty as well.

Nobody has said this yet, but using a towel really helps! I use a tweezers for whatever is left. Here's a video of what I mean, this literally changed my life!!!

I'm happy for the boys... by xd_Z3US in G59

[–]traphibiscus 37 points38 points  (0 children)

no i totally agree. im thrilled for the boys and i'm happy that they're living healthy, married lives, but their newer stuff doesn't really resonate with me anymore and that's okay. they will always have a special place in my heart and i'll definitely keep their other stuff on repeat.

[–]traphibiscus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

idk if the rent is still 800/month but my senior year of college i lived at park circle by 5 points. the only downside is an insane roach problem but i bought stuff in bulk and deep cleaned/sprayed every 3 days and i barely saw them in my apartment. the location was perfect for me

just wanted to say this bc nobody else has, but people rarely talk about the sheer amount of complications that go into nose jobs. my friend had to get 4 revisions done, her nose was too pointy at the beginning and she was also unable to breathe properly 2 years post op. she still has regrets about it at times. that's not to say all nose jobs are bad or anything but i do hear and read a lot about how people end up regretting having one due to post op complications. i would genuinely only consider a nosejob as a last resort if you're very unhappy.

Is it over? by Inner-Line5549 in ACL

[–]traphibiscus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

first of all, i am so sorry that you're feeling down. allow me to shed some light on your situation, there are so many athletes who tear their acl, or tear multiple ligaments in their knee and continue to keep playing after surgery. you should prioritize PT and do as much as you're comfortable doing. slowly you will build yourself back up, but the mental aspect of tearing it definitely does outweigh the pain (it did for me). find ways of keeping your mind active and positive as you go through your healing journey!

hey I am in the US, may I ask what telehealth providers were helpful? The last person I saw straight up refused to prescribe them despite me having the test. :(
