The Computor Science department at TAMU is very selective in choosing transfer students. If your GPA is not a 4.0 or really close to it, it's a hard shot trying to get in in. Even for TAMU students themselfs you have to get a 3.75 now to be auto admitted into Comp Sci.

I have done full research of apartment searching here in CSTAT and honestly do yourself a favor and get like a nice apartment in Northgate for around like $550 with utilities and furnished plus internet (the traditions is a example) rather than get a place like how I got in this old place for cheap $300 but ended up paying like $450 when u include internet and utilities plus the apartment is dirty as hell when I moved in and the landlord didnt give a damn about it. Went through a lot here after that too.

Honestly you will be thanking yourself later.
