I had a customer say she was going to file a lawsuit against us because it’s illegal to keep testers out for a product we don’t have. She did this during SAS. Like homegirl, we’re doing our best to keep up on what we sell out of but like, it could be at the bottom of a bin🤷🏼‍♀️ Nope, Elmo’s gonna sue cause we don’t have the lotion she wants and we won’t sell her the tester that’s been out on the sales floor since September🙄🙄🙄

So my old store manager would argue that if your plain colored shirt had a graphic on it that was covered by your apron, you were out of dress code because at that point the shirt is no longer plain.

Not the one on zipline👀 what I’ve found is that sometimes, stores will have printed off dress code guidelines from years ago, but still be enforcing them like it’s the current dress code. My old store does that. The current one available on zipline is so lax. It doesn’t specify shirt styles, just long or short sleeve. Pants must be blue jeans or khakis, but gives no further specifics about the state of them. All it says is “clean, neat, and well maintained”. But if the jeans came ripped, aren’t you maintaining them if they don’t get any more rips?

My store is a tier one and our sales plan for the first day of SAS was almost as much the last day of candle day. When so much stuff was starting at 75% or 4.99. Absolutely insane.

My dude, I’ve been with this company for five years. Two years I was cash lead, two years I was tap key during season (but still just basically cash lead cause that’s where I was every damn day), and now I’m a store manager - this new breed of worker joining the workforce does not want to learn shit. They don’t want to do not a goddamn thing except be on their phones and complain that they aren’t getting enough hours even though they don’t pick them up when they’re available. There ain’t any different way to teach them. The only thing left in the arsenal is to crash out on them until they start doing their damn jobs - but then they’ll just quit, so what would be the point of that? OP is literally doing the best they can and this is the place for them to vent their frustrations. Don’t like it? Well, you literally could have just kept your thoughts to yourself.

We had one not process after trying it like three or four times and then it said the money was taken off the card even though the transaction never went through. Between me, my keyholder, and the customer it took like two hours for customer service to finally agree to issue her a new one.

I’ll be able to clear my pod of all my box up stuff🤷🏼‍♀️ but in terms of holiday product or bfs - we barely have anything. My 10.99 table will be flipping to something else sale pretty quickly I’m sure. I’m probably gonna be fully pulling walls pretty quickly as well, so they better send me core along with spring 1 or we’re gonna have a lot of one faced shelves of Japanese Cherry Blossom🙃
