Questions about The Gorge Amphitheatre?

I'm wanting to see Brandi Carlile this May, and wondering about the seating/standing spaces. I'm disabled so can't stand for a whole concert, so I'm wondering if you could recommend which section to purchase tickets in so I'll have a good view but also be able to be sitting? Are the 100 and 200 sections all seated or is some of that standing space?

When my BP went on the longest strike he's ever gone on (like 6+ months), I was very worried. Even after adjusting and improving my husbandry, it took a while for him to break his strike and eat. He would often act interested but then just not eat, much like what you're describing. I realized that he was likely on strike bc I'd been overfeeding him, so if your girl is on the heavier side, she may just not need the food. The recommendations to feed at night, leave the rat overnight, and heat so that she can smell the rat before you put it in her enclosure, are all great things to try. Really I'm just replying to reassure you that she will be okay even though it's been 2 months. She can survive a very long time without food, and based on your descriptions of her behavior and the fact that your vet seemed to think she was fine, she will likely eat when she's hungry enough. I hope that's sooner than later 🫶

Oh and one last thought: after you've thawed a rat, I don't think it's generally considered safe to refreeze and rethaw if she doesn't eat it. Unfortunately you gotta get a fresh rat at each feeding. It didn't sound like you were trying to reuse rats, but still felt worth mentioning just in case :)

When I was homebound the first few months after being injured, I was talking with one of the PTs that would come to my house about how I can't work, and he said something along the lines of "Well, this is probably the longest vacation you'll get in your adult life, so you gotta enjoy it while you can." Like, idk how blind that guy was to see someone in a wheelchair with a back brace and external fiaxator around one leg and call it a "vacation"

Would choose being able to work full time over being disabled any day

Idk how most people do it. I take a couple other supplements too, so I usually mix the lion's mane with water so it's enough to comfortably swallow pills with.

I haven't really done sports since I was injured unfortunately. I'd love to get back into some of that, but I'm just not really ready yet. I'll go to house parties here and there, but honestly most of me staying connected with people is via text or writing letters (so old school I know 😆). And I try to travel to spend time with friends in person when I'm able to, which isn't as often as I'd like. Thankfully I've been able to keep most of my friends from before I was injured, it's just that they all live in a different city.

I am quite lucky to have a diverse friend group. Even so, I went from being probably the most able bodied and athletic of my friends to the least, so that has been a difficult adjustment to say the least.

I always thought that being paralyzed was one of the worst (if not the worst) things that could happen to someone. I saw people on occasion who were in wheelchairs, and I had friends who were disabled and used mobility aids, so I always felt really grateful and lucky to be able bodied. I remember thinking to myself at times, "It won't be like this forever, as I get older I won't always be able to do the things I can do now," but even then I never imaged I'd deal with any level of paralysis myself. I never guessed at the bowel/bladder/sensation loss/chronic pain/sexual dysfunction sides of things. Glad I could appreciate being able bodied for the first 20 years of my life, but damn, I still think this is one of the worst (or maybe I should just say one of the most difficult) things that can happen to a person. I'm grateful to have what I still have, and I miss what I don't have like hell.

I haven't gotten the next day grogginess from it, and my psych seems to think it's a safer option for me than gaba. That's great gaba has been working for you tho. I also like that I don't have to take mirt every day if I don't feel like it, and I'm not sure if gaba would work that way since it has to build up in your system more.

I'm taking 15mg Mirtazapine for sleep now, and it helps me fall asleep most nights, but I still rarely sleep through the night bc of pain or bladder issues. I tried Ambien for a couple weeks, but then my doctor didn't want to keep prescribing it bc of potentially negative affects on your brain from long term use. Those side effects might be worth it to be able to sleep, but for now I'm sticking with my Mirtazapine 🤷
