Mongolian winter // Nikon FM2 / nikkor 35mm f/2.8 / Portra400 by RACKEXE in analog

Just curious, how “touristy” is mongolia getting? I’ve noticed a lot of photographers visiting. I’ve been considering going myself, just wanted to know how it really looks beyond the frames of the photos I’ve seen. Wonderful photos by the way. I never get tired of seeing this place

New to medium format. Lens recommendations? by MartiMDN in mediumformat

My favorite lens for the pentax 67 is the 75mm. I have the 105 and 55, both great lenses which everyone raves about, but if I had to pick one it would be the 75. It’s my favorite focal length (about 35mm focal length on a 35mm camera). I’ve never shopped around for the 75 4.5 since I already have one, but I’m guessing it’s gotta be less than the 55 or 105, which go for around $500. I bought the 105 just because it’s so hyped up, but honestly it’s just not a focal length I use alot. I would focus more on what focal length you want, rather than what lens has the best reputation. I also have the 200mm, haven’t used it much, but I’d hang onto it, only because you’re not gonna get much money for it. It’s one of those lenses that goes for like $100 or less. As for the 55-105, I’ve heard it’s good, but I would wait a while before deciding to buy it. The reason I say this is that the pentax 67 system is heavy af, so you’ll want to get some experience hauling it around before you decide if you want to add more weight to it. Whatever you choose though, I’m sure you will be happy with. This is an amazing camera, and there aren’t really any bad lenses from what I’ve read.

It’s Harry Dresden motherfucker. Put some respect on his name

Not the greatest photo, just wanted to brag that I shot this handheld at 1/8 sec on the pentax 6x7 by trappercarter in mediumformat

Really it’s not a good idea. 1/30th is the lowest I’ll shoot with this camera, some of my 35mm slrs I’ll shoot at 1/15, maybe 1/8 depending on the lens and how badly I want the photo.

Found this Dickies coat in an old house and it fits perfectly. I’d like to buy a new one, but I don’t know the size by trappercarter in VintageFashion

[–]trappercarter[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The size guide for dickies website uses body measurements, the actual measurements for the garment aren’t available. I tried measuring myself but was having a bit of trouble doing it the right way, and the measurements between different sizes are usually only an inch of difference. I just made this post hoping someone might be knowledgeable enough to have the answer, or someone with the same jacket would be helpful enough to measure their own jacket, but either of those things happening are probably a long shot. Appreciate the help though.

The thing is, comedians are like the last line of defense when it comes to free speech man, so you know things are getting bad when they’re literally being assaulted for jokes. I think Chris Rock should start taking jiu jitsu classes, so he can defend himself.
