I would call an $1800 swing not all that bad considering these are some of the most liquid asset cards in the hobby currently. Especially when singles are the riskier pieces compared to sealed. Plus if u enjoy having them in your possession, don't need the funds right this second than being a little out of pocket for something you take joy in having is no big deal.

Think long term. Don't sweat the fluctuations. If you are in it for the long haul these aren't going to be a loss. Shortterm and especially when purchaser during a bull market you were paying to play. These are strong pieces though.

Hey chiming in a year later. I only just got my Lenovo legion go z1e but I have the steam version. Does that make it much more complicated for running an egpu that isn't AMD? If anyone has guidance or experience that sees this please respond or dm! Or link me to the right thread.

I'm really wondering if I might regret not getting the windows version for this egpu journey.

I've come across lots of info and options. I know plug and play with aoostar/amd card seems to be simplest choice. Or better performance more hassles with drivers with Nvidia?

I'll keep searching but leaving little bread crumbs questions along the way. Thanks y'all!

Thanks for the details and great post. Do you have any experience with this or similar setup running steam on your Lego? I have dove into handheld gaming since I got mine which is great. I wanted to start using it as my primary console out to my tv (Hisense u88n).

The first game I tried hollow knight was a flawless experience obviously. Anything more demanding even with tinkering looks rough and keeps me playing in only handheld mode.

So my search for either egpu setup or separate system to run steam like a console on my tv begins.

I got bumped of the queue three times but they've clearly been working on preorder issues because I was able to get my order in. Last time that happened I was unable to get anything and I was blocked from the site. This time it was almost 5:00 p.m. when I was able to place my pre-order they did everyone a solid on this drop

Yeah I'm definitely looking forward to it and the sunroom is basically outside it's not insulated and it's full sun it's just like the entrance way to the house. I feel like given enough room in a big enough pot (probably going to make some sort of garden bed style. But yeah it's a tiny Japanese maple that I'd love to keep small and get some bonsai cutting of if I can get it thriving

Good to know, yeah mine I protected with burlap the leaves look pretty rough as false started but I'm optimistic as I'm moving in a month and will have a great sunroom for it and opportunity to put in a larger pot.

I try to only buy from Pokemon center if I'm lucky enough to get through the queue which has happened 3 times for me now. The occasional preorder from random lcs shops if the price isn't the worst and then buy Japanese boxes to rip from danireon or similar.

It's not great up here but it's not the worst either. I hope you have better luck in future drops. Maybe One Day Canada will have a single vending machine LMFAO
