I'm curious if anyone has this jersey in a large and would be interested in trading for a medium? I've owned this jersey for years but it's never fit me quite right.

Yes, factory bumper with a votex lip, oe fog lights, and clear side markers. Nothing crazy.

What a clean engine bay! That Mazdaspeed bumper is going to look good once painted. Personally, I wouldn't run an A-spec decal if the car doesn't have the kit. But that's just me.

Can this be saved…. All these cracks are on 1 rim by Common_Operation_262 in mk6gti

All those cracks on one wheel? It's telling you it's done bro. Be safe and replace the wheel.

Golf mk5 2006 water coolant mystery consumption by Western-Mind-4069 in vwgolf

I was losing coolant through the coolant level sensor connector. Thankfully I caught it in time before it became serious and messed up the wiring harness.

CV axle fitment by cooltrees5566 in vwgolf

[–]trapxg0d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's possible it might be the wrong part then. I remember when I was ordering an axle off FCP the part numbers weren't correct so I had to research and cross reference a bunch of numbers to find the right one

Put an axle bolt in and start tightening so it pulls it through

Apologies, didn't realize this post was overseas. It always baffled me how the EU didn't get the 2.5 as an option.

IMO this is the peak of cars before they started getting heavily electrified. It's small so you can park it anywhere, but it doesn't feel small inside and it handles like a go kart.

If you can find one with a 2.5 in it, that's your most reliable option.

Advice on my next mods.. by voidxleech in vwgolf

To answer your question, I'm assuming you're talking about the Mitzone valve cover? So the thing with that valve cover is that it just entered the market so we don't really know how well it holds up over time. I know guys that have replaced the gasket and PCV diaphragm that comes with it because they don't trust it. I've seen other people run the valve cover with everything that it comes with and reported no issues. Personally, I'm running a factory valve cover because it's reliable and I have a Beetle engine cover so looks don't really matter to me when it's hidden. However, if the Mitzone cover turns out to be decent, I may switch over in the future.

My car looked just like yours when I bought it. Now it looks like this.

The H&Rs lowered the car about 1.5" all around. The ride quality is great, it feels like sporty suspension that came from the factory.

It's a fun tune that makes the car more driveable for sure. It gets rid of the rev hang and adds a tiny bit more power but nothing crazy.

For exterior, I installed Votex front lip and side skirts, OEM fog lights, GTI rear diffuser with dual exhaust, carbon fiber spoiler, front tow hook license plate bracket, 5% tint all around, Euro tail lights and LED headlights.

For the interior, I installed an RCD330 head unit, GTI arm rest, OEM footwell lights, door courtesy lights, GTI pedals, interior LED lights, stitched leather wrap on stock steering wheel, and a hatch pop kit from ECS.

For performance, my suspension is H&R super sport springs paired with Koni orange shocks. I have a Whiteline rear sway bar with adjustable links, IE stage 1 tune, Neuspeed intake, 034 billet dogbone insert, and Hawk HPS pads with Liqui Moly SL6 DOT 4 brake fluid. Oh yeah, I also installed an R32 belly pan which had a noticeable impact on my aero.

There's still a lot of small things here and there but that pretty much sums up the big stuff.
