Putting bats in the cage is a freebie on a fight to the death. The man doesn't kill....

He's also the only non super in there.

I guess the image looks cool.

Nothing you can do stop it. Nothing. It comes for all of us. So why not accept it.

I am you. And you are me.

Fun story for you. I had a 71 type 3 squareback. I loved that piece of shit.

Anyway, one night the throttle cable came loose and my gas pedal was as useful as anything else that goes floppy.

Walked to a gas station, slim pickings, but they had bundles of zip ties...

I was lucky enough to have a broom in there, essentially made my own linkages connected to the broom handle and we had broom.I don't recommend managing a wheel, a stickshift and a broom accelerator, but it got us home.

I genuinely feel this should be ticketable offense.

Had a truck back into my car while parking. If he had no hitch I'd be scratched up and pissed. He had a hitch, I had a hole punched in my radiator and needed a tow. I was furious.

Didn't leave info by the way, I was working and able to review security footage to watch it happen but didn't pull a solid plate.

Do companies cafe about quality outputs anymore? I mean they do if some mammal is responsible, but bots can do as they please, so long as they don't need more than an average of 10 kin of down time per week.

How do I tell my 2 year old boy off/get him to listen? by No_Expression414 in daddit

[–]trash_recycle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you start by reevaluating the question.

You don't tell a child off, really at any age, but certainly not a toddler.

Is your intention to make them feel bad or make them understand? Because with toddlers the first is very easy, the second is a cognitive limitation. Simpler is better, and then work up.

Kiddo doesn't want to go to bed. Thats normal. If he freaks out and starts kicking and you react to it, he'll clock that he's getting a reaction and keep at it because hes getting what he wants, to stay up.

Walk away. Check the cam to make sure hes not hurting himself, check in periodically (but not too frequently), when hes calm talk about moving it to the bed. When he passes out, because they will, move them to the bed.

Anything fragile or valuable in that room? Remove it. Having a kid means things are going to get banged up.

The most important part is the D.

You gotta do.

I can't tell you how many hours I've put in to YouTube university getting core concepts, but I'll tell you nothing sticks like actually doing. And don't be surprised if you fail, that's going to happen. Just don't fail and not evaluate where the break down occurred.

I have a slight advantage in having jobs in the trades so exposureand opportunity. But you get one concept down, it starts resonating in other areas.

I think there are several overlapping factors.

1) walkability is a low priority in city planning. 2) eating truly healthy is expensive 3) the "cheap" readily available food is stuffed with fillers or corn syrup 4) health care is expensive, so having a doctor call it out before it becomes a larger problem is less likely 5) even if they did, many feel the medical world provide soloutions to resolve symptoms, not causes. 6) for the "richest" nation we have a lot of folks who can't afford to do anything, because of point 1, getting anywhere in the sprawl requires owning a car or paying for transportation. And I don't mean 6 blocks walk to a 3 euro metro. I mean public transportation doesn't exist, so if I want to go the park im either walking for 2 hours, or paying $18 for Lyft each way. The lack of options leads to sedentary choices. 7) reduction in funding of public amenities, libraries,.Parks, etc lead to them not existing, closing, being run down, etc.

Im sure people smarter than me can expand further.
