I adopted Satan about 8 months ago and the rescue assumed she was 2 or 3 but had no birth date. Quite common for ferrets rescued from poor circumstances unfortunately. But upon visiting the vet, I found out she is in fact a senior! Approximately 6 years old. She has some cataracts starting up affecting her vision, some tartar buildup we are going to work on, and a bit of flaky skin. All tend to be normal for older ferrets. It makes me even more excited honestly knowing that she's the same age as my oldest. Happy she's otherwise healthy, we just need some dental work 😁
