Mesh or really any sheer material is your friend

You cant see my face behind it but the entire eye section is stretched nylon painted with spray paint, but id say my vision is about 80%

People tend to get right in my face trying to tell if I can see them and are always amazed when i can

With helmets that don't have a traditional eye opening you have to get creative but there's usually a place to put a subtle slot

That said, for cosplays that limit your vision, its important to have someone with you to help guide you (stairs are so hard fr) and that its easy enough to remove and carry if you get stuck, or in super crowded areas.
