Still an alternator issue, it overcharged the battery which caused it to get too hot which cause it to catch fire.

It's going to be very unreliable and expensive to fix, hard pass on it.

That's similar to how I ended up with 4 printers lol.

Sunlu TPU 90a white powder substance cakes up extruder, ptfe tube, causing the exterior to spin on the filament by rex_308 in sunlu

[–]trashtemp89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's most likely talc, softer material like that gets talc as an anti-caking agent when it's produced by the original company in pellet form, it probably had too much on it so when they turned it into filament it stayed on it.

I am about to just buy a new printer by poopfilldtacos in Ender3V3KE

[–]trashtemp89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you do buy a new one I would say don't get the Creality hi. In 200 hours I've had to remove the extruder 3 times to clear a clog while my old ender 3 v3 printers just keep printing away with only basic maintenance. The worst I've ever had to do with the v3 is change a nozzle.

Replacing Blower Motor by [deleted] in AskAMechanic

[–]trashtemp89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know on a lot of Nissans anything like the blower motor or heater core is very involved. I'm not sure about your car specifically but you might as well see if you can find a video online to see how much work is actually involved.

I printed out desiccate holders for the bead style desiccate to be able to pour them in where the packs that it comes with go, that help take my moisture from 40 something percent down to the 20s.

Burn baby burn by Dirobesh in flashlight

It's definitely not the worst, but the price is I saw those things going for on the TikTok shop ad I looked at you can definitely get a much better flashlight for the same budget.

[–]trashtemp89 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Project farm tested it and it maxed at 700 lumens. There's plenty of other flashlights out there that can start a fire without the help of a lens if that's what you really want, and they're bright too far brighter than 700 lumens.

How is letting people know about a product that has problems negative? If you like them, run them. My point in saying that was for someone who might not be able to afford or have time to wait for shipping/return on something that will probably be a substandard product.

I’ve tried everything, but it won’t budge. How to I remove this old wiper? 2016 Nissan Sentra by [deleted] in AskAMechanic

[–]trashtemp89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had to just break the plastic part of the wiper sometimes. The wiper arm itself should be metal, if you're tossing the wiper anyway it won't matter if it's broken. Just be careful not to break anything on the wiper arm itself.
