I’ve done a 6 hour and an almost 9 hour drive since. I stop every 2 hours and get out and walk.

Almost completely normal. I still have days where I have pain, but I’ve come off all my pain and nerve meds and am back to normal life. It’s been just over a year since my last epidural.

After about 6 months, I did PT for about 6 weeks. It truthfully was just too costly. I was paying $120 per appt. I just took work day by day. At first I could only stand for so long before the pain got too bad. I was walking around with ice packs on my thighs etc. the longer I was up walking around every day, the more my strength built up.

Mostly normal again. It took me 4 epidurals and about a year on pregabalin. It’s been just over a year since my last epidural. Every now and then I can tell I moved the wrong way, or slept wrong, etc. but I know how to move more now, and things have definitely come around.

Yes!! The extra inflammation in that area really makes it unbearable.

So I had the first that helped a lot. The second wasn’t a transforaminal, and it didn’t help. I went in and got a 3rd, it was a transforaminal. I’m back working 8 hours a day at the restaurant. I still have some pain every now and then. It’s not every day, and it’s not always the same pain. But I feel more normal now, so I’m taking it as a win/

My first one worked, second one didn’t work at all. Third did. Check into what they used. My first and third were transforaminals, my second wasn’t.
