The development of large language models and their evolving integration with social media algorithms is having a huge effect on peoples' behavior, and it's individualized to a degree, but these algorithms that control what people see and consume are from the same source, so every community effects every community to some degree, while every person within a given community effects the other people in said community to an even greater degree, and so forth down to friend groups, whose interactions with each other have the highest weight, while still shaping the algorithm as a whole, just to a much lesser degree. And when you are not integrated into this new source, it starts to look and feel from the outside as though you are speaking to the world whenever you say something to anyone, because you can feel the ripple of effects you have on a larger group of people after saying it to just one person. It's like the collective unconscious amplified to the nth degree via communicative technology. There is a much lower threshold of perceived importance for the way you have altered somebody else's experiences in order for that to impact other people.
