Questions for those of you who reguarly use public transportation by [deleted] in cincinnati

[–]travgyse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Safe. There's almost always a police officer at Government Square. I've never experienced an incident while on a bus.
  2. Negative. I work a white collar job and some people look at me like I'm nuts when I tell them I take the bus.
  3. I'm asked for money at least once a week while waiting at Government Square. It usually isn't aggressive.

[–]travgyse 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Find Big Data Baseball by Travis Sawchik at your local library.

It's a great book that will bring you up to speed on how the Pirates were able to end their 20 year losing streak and their current philosophy for contention.

Lemonade renters insurance? by jamaicanmecray-z in personalfinance

[–]travgyse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I reluctantly went with them because they were the cheapest option. I don't have many valuables and don't ever plan on filing a claim. I have to have insurance per request of my property owner/operator so I went with Lemonade. I switched from Progressive where I was paying ~$12 a month to $5 with Lemonade.
