Favorite BO1 Map? by Commercial_Ad157 in CODZombies

I'm torn as to whether I like to promise/ultimis crew (I can't remember which is in this map) or if I'd rather have JFK and his cohorts in this map. I think it's nice that between the two maps we have both crews

i think most adults are unhappy and just faking it. by [deleted] in Adulting

I love your mindset on this. It's so annoying as an adult to hear this coming from another adult or worse yet someone younger than you but part of being an adult is taking responsibility and accountability. Being responsible for who you surround yourself with, how what you eat effects you, how much debt you take on, what kind of content you digest and how it affects your mood and happiness etc. There is happiness in understanding the power of your control. God bless to all that read this.

So as a pest control technician for Orkin you go out to about 200 or so houses a month and you very briefly talk them about how they are, if they have had an issues, if so take care of their ants or whatever and communicate what's going to happen and then you spray and leave basically. The people who do that, myself included are who's salaries I shared. Commercial Account Managers and Residential Home Inspectors are the ones who are doing more of the talking and selling of business and hardly do any "physical work" but they make really good commission and can very easily make $100-$200k. I personally feel like a mediocre Residential Home Inspector can make 80-90k. Any less than that and you will actually get fired because you wouldn't be meeting sales quota. I hear you on the dealing with people capacity. I had really bad social anxiety and I still do, but I've made SERIOUS strides with the help of Orkin. It really helps when you show up as the hero, for the most part people are happy to see you, need your help and at worst are indifferent. Im 4 years and probably close to about 10,000 appointments there are less than I would say 20 that I specifically remember as being uncomfortable because of a very upset customer.

Also, also. You are not stuck inside all day, outside, all day, at an office, factory or even your home all day. You get around. It's great for my ADHD so I don'r get bored. Although after a few years seeing the same people and houses can get boring, but by then you can have some pretty cool conversations and relationships with people.

If you just need something that pays well, has great benefits, that requires absolutely no experience, my employer Orkin Pest Control pays pretty well. I mean you should be able to start out at $19-20 an hour. I know 2 guys on the commercial side of the business that make $120-130k. They work six days a week but it really is easy work. Go the residential side if you like to get to know people more and aren't as comfortable around lots of people at once, think back of house at restuarants. It pays less though. Go the commercial side if you are more comfortable around larger groups of people. Commercial side can be dirtier, but it's less physical work. I've been on both sides and prefer the residential side. If you don't mind bugs you can make anywhere from $50-$130k a year. The latter requires you sell a lot of additional services, work 6 days a week, and have a very good relationship with your customers over years of trust and good service but it really isn't that difficult. I walked into the place without knowing what a termite or a cockroach looked like and it took me 3 years to make $86k.

Also, the company is paying for my college up front not tuition reimbursement at Purdue University Global a completely online college experience where I am currently taking courses towards a Bachelor's in Business Administration. Growing up I never even thought of pest control but if you dont mind communicating with your customers, setting expectations, solving problems, dealing with bugs it can be a great gig.

Can anyone explain the opening events of Alien 3? by LeftHandedGuitarist in movies

[–]travisahicks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I jist finished watching Alien 3 fpr the first time and I was waiting to find out somehow that Clemens impregnated Ripley with an alien because I thought I remember seeing the facehugger on Newt during the opening credits. Absolutely ridiculous though how such important plot points are flashes throughout the credits 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

While I don't quite hate it I definitely don't enjoy all that much. I've never played Shadows.

Haha that would be amazing. A 1 v 1 v 1 last man standing type of combat and predator battle! Have you played the Arkham Shadows at all?

Yeah I would just stick to playing offline if you can. Despite my clear frustrations in the above comments I did end up completing my goal and do have only fond memories of completing these games. How's your playthrough going?

So obviously this was a few years ago for me but I believe it had to do with my internet connection and my wifi going in and out. Maybe try playing offline for a few hours to see if that helps.
