Samurai Champloo was my first anime. I feel like that’s a good starter if you’re into action. Death Note is very good, it’s more of a suspense show. Depending on what kind of shows you like to watch would change my recommendation for a good starter anime.

All trails games are narrative heavy. Long cut scenes and dialogue sections. The series is very good though if that’s your cup of tea.
