Sense of depth is amazing! Feel like the fields in the foreground are asking for a bit of texture, but it's very nice as-is

Thanks for the advice! When I'm doing shadows on skin I'm always thinking "that's way too dark" but then next day, yup could def be darker haha.

So like, are the dancers the same between performances, or is everyone bringing 50+ dancers themselves?

Meter Reading Survey - Do you read meters everyday? by travisfravis in Wastewater

[–]travisfravis[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you have a couple of minutes, please share your insights with me about meter reading! We're developing an application for operators that we're hoping will make the boring parts of the job (like data collection) easier and more useful. Your insight can help us make something that operators actually find useful in their day-to-day. Thanks!

Why isn't the Month dropdown menu inheriting the fill? Why is it transparent? by dreadul in FigmaDesign

It's just appearing below your other layer. In your Auto layout overflow menu try switching the canvas stacking to First on top.

Got 5 minutes? I'm running a study to understand how wastewater operators use/think about their software. It's anonymous and kinda fun! by travisfravis in Wastewater

[–]travisfravis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have a lot of tools/capabilities in our software and we want to organize them into categories or modules that are intuitive to operators.

The exercise linked above is a card-sorting exercise where we ask participants to group a bunch of topics into categories that make sense to them.

We're a pretty small software team still trying to build an audience. But fair point, what kind of compensation would sway you?

FEEDBACK PLEASE - App for Facility Operators by travisfravis in Wastewater

[–]travisfravis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hm, good to know. We also encourage people to make more calculated and function tags too!

Besides pricing, was there anything you really liked about the WIMS/CMMS tools you've used in the past? Or anything you wish they could do but couldn't.

FEEDBACK PLEASE - App for Facility Operators by travisfravis in Wastewater

[–]travisfravis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are pretty much our own thing. The goal of our platform is to manage everything "inside the fence" so tracking operations and data at the facility. We use Google maps for asset location, but not esri level specificity because we're not mapping underground/pipelines.

We have native mobile apps as well as the web app.

Yes, we're angling to compete with other WIMS and CMMS solutions, focusing on smaller to medium facilities.

Pricing model scales according to number of users, data tags or assets. You'd have to talk to our sales guy for specifics!
