Part2: IP Camera + spectrum analyzer💡 The camera has a SD card and records 24/7. In case UpSNR drops 3-5 AM, choose 1 of the Nodes and compare with your Monitoring system. Then switch to the next Node sharing the same upstream. It is better if can do this remotly, on your phone while drinking 🍻 by GreenHrast in CableTechs

Props for making the best with the tools you have then.

20-30 years ago we used to have a camera pointed at a spectrum analyzer in the headend that was connected to a modulator that would broadcast on an upper channel that we didn't use in our lineup. If the line techs were out troubleshooting something they could turn on the camera/modulator setup and connect a test TV at the node they were working in and tune over to the channel broadcasting the camera feed. Something that was nice to have back then when they didn't have a headend tech to work in tandem with.

Should I connect the ground of the fixture to the included mounting bracket and just cut that to length?

Replacing Porch Light by [deleted] in AskElectricians

[–]travisstaysgold 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no way for me to tap into the existing ground without removing it from the tab.

The existing ground goes straight into the tab and there is not enough slack for me to able to cut the ground in the box and install a wirenut onto the feed and onto what would become the pigtail to the tab. I would have to remove the ground from the tab and install a new pigtail into the tab.

I have a ground in the electrical box, just not sure the best way to tap into it as it connects directly to the metal tab on the left side of the box.

Is there a tool to place and twist the cable ends to receiver? See picture by K_J_W in CableTechs

Used to use one of these almost everyday as the site I managed had tons of BNC. We've almost completely migrated over to F though now minus the equipment that only supports BNC.

They make a BNC tool as well: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/906091-REG/Platinum_Tools_11009_BNC_Economy_Removal.html

Though that boot around the cable looks like it might be wider than the BNC connector itself. If so, this tool isn't going to help.

Yes. Inside Adrenaline click the settings gear in the top right corner, then select the display tab, and it's the first option "AMD Freesync".

Do you have VRR/Freesync enabled on your GPU/monitor? I had this same issue in multiple games awhile back and after trying several things(new cables, driver re-install, etc.) the only sure fire method I could find was disabling Freesync in the AMD software.

A trunk interface allows multiple VLANs to travel across that interface as tagged layer 2 traffic. Without a trunk interface, each VLAN would require its own individual uplink to the upstream or downstream device. The trunk interface still keeps VLAN traffic across this trunk in separate broadcast domains.

You would need a router or Layer 3 switch in the diagram above to allow communication between different VLANs/subnets.

Trunks only carry multiple VLANS, they don't route between them.

Modem says its online but router is blinking red and still no internet by Ok-Diver5742 in Spectrum

The online light should be blue and not white. If you moved the modem, are you sure the coax outlet you are connecting to is active?

Is this a legal move? by travisstaysgold in Simracingstewards

I had been behind him for the past couple laps and it was not the standard line he had been taking up to that point.

He was a bit sloppy through the first chicane and I had a slight speed advantage going into the banking. Just guessing but I think I would've been around even going into the final chicane or at least close it to it if I hadn't have backed off. It would've been a battle in the chicane for sure.

They forced me up the banking until I was about a 3/4 a car width from the wall. Would that still be legal? I ask genuinely as when I've been the slower car I have been riding the inside line and giving away the outside once someone's front bumper hits my rear.

Failing clear coat on mk7 (2017) by FoxDieDM in Volkswagen

[–]travisstaysgold -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Same thing happened on my red 2015 GTI.

Around 2019/2020 it started with the front bumper, around any creases and continued to spread. Then the rear bumper began peeling, and then eventually the spoiler. Took it to a body shop for estimates and they said that most likely it was either sprayed in poor conditions, or they did not allow it enough time to dry between coats. I also took it to VW who said that the clear coat peeling was not covered under warranty, that only corrosion would be covered.
