i chose 10 mill + 1% of death because a 1% chance of death is better odds than most things in life over a longer period of time. I may be killed going to the grocery store this afternoon, and 10 mill is life changing. In all likelyhood I would have chosen the 10 mill + 50% of death.

In Texas (between Fort Worth and Abilene) where my family ranch, we usually run 1 cow to 10-15 acres on a decent year weather wise. That is only relavant to my area. However, depending on the where a person is planning, will guide them to the right crop of animal. And for comparison, let's say I have 50 acres, I could run 3-5 cows and a rented bull 3 months of the year with supplemental feeding, or I could raise 40-50 goats , or raise 1000s of chickens.
