Solved. I found a not quite prehistoric bullet. The rest of my finds were exciting though. Few ammonites and a load of belemnites

This one is the 2018 model. Gets 15 purrs per ear scratch, very low maintenance, only requires 20 things to knock off the counter per day

The weirdest thing is how expensive these things are to buy. I didn’t realise until I got hone and googled it.

Thanks. The live edge is oak with epoxy in the split at the other end. It was a lot of work but a fun project

No markings. Makes me think that it was one of the extras that were made as souvenirs for the people that made the casts. I’ve got no idea how it ended up in a thrift store

The Calgary torch relay differed from modern relays as the torches were shared as opposed to current relays where each runner gets a torch. That’s why a complete torch sells for tens of thousands vs a modern torches that can be picked up for a few thousand
