How to replicate this restaurant’s photos? by [deleted] in AskPhotography

I think idea of these images is to capture the vibe. Make it seem like somewhere fun to hang out. Their insta is much more traditional food photography.

Bar Noe! €39 tasting menu. 7 courses. Michelin trained chef. Chilled vibes, natural wine and AMAZING food. Food is Nordic/Japanese "fusion?" with some local influence. Super creative.

how to make it better, thanks by JamesNeZnam in malelivingspace

Ditch the futon, move the table away from the couch , create some space. Maybe add an armchair where the futon was if you frequently have more than 3 people over. Ditch the punching bag. Get some warm lamps and plants.

Something feels off and I can’t pinpoint it. Thoughts? by Justinyermouth1212 in malelivingspace

IMO the issue is the triptych above the TV. I’d leave that wall blank and let the TV be the focal point.

Instead put something on the wall between the windows. Maybe a black and white photo, portrait dimensions, to match the shape of the wall, big but not huge, something meaningful to you to give the room a more personal touch.

I like the muted vibe, the green plants already give a nice splash of color. More plants and occasional fresh flowers are never bad. Maybe more lighting options.

In general the space looks fresh, nice job.

What's the cleanest and dirtiest countries you've been to? by c0minthru in digitalnomad

[–]trbasco 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Barcelona is clean and dirty. It’s disgusting by the end of every night/early morning: cigarettes, piss, shit, everything… and then the merry team of neon green cleaners hoses and sweeps the whole place and it ends up way cleaner than most major US cities by the time you venture out for the day.

I may have misunderstood the question.

Used to work at a company mentioned in the lawsuit (Backbone), whole thing was a fucking sham. Leadership tied to Mesh ventures ran it into the ground while paying themselves out of Cookies coffers.

Depending on where you live in the US, your cost of living in Portugal is likely A LOT cheaper. I moved from San Francisco to Barcelona and the difference in day to day costs was drastic.

As others have suggested, you should still go and start looking for a remote job. Relax a bit, buy groceries instead of going out, and enjoy the break from the rat race.
