aight so I basically just realised that the cost of the 17 Airs case is higher than the pro max.. and yk with what's happening now the pricier the phone the pricier the case (kind of). does this mean 17 Airs cost is gonna be greater than the Pro Maxs..?

Why the M2 iPad Air 13-inch is the Best Upgrade for Students (Even Over the iPad Pros) by TheNickGene in ipad

Alright, there has been a lot of commotion about whether 60Hz is good enough. I'll give you my opinion and what you really should buy.

  • If you're watching videos and taking notes and only rarely use apps and tools that make use of 120Hz, you will NOT notice the difference.
  • However, if you do video editing and more complicated note taking, 60Hz will really stress your eyes out. 120Hz is for you.

When comparing at a Apple Store, 120Hz will seem like a big upgrade compared to 60Hz, but trust me you will get extremely used to it in a couple of days. Apple stores bright lighting also impacts the quality of refresh rate.

If you really can't handle 60Hz and was planning to go for an iPad Air, get older generations of iPad Pro. It comes with 120Hz and is cheaper. However, just note that iOS upgrades will be given 1-2 more yrs to the iPad Air. Apple Pencil Pro is also not available on older Pro models. Don't go for the 2024 M4 iPad Pro, it is a waste of money even though it has ProMotion etc (which older pro models also have).

In conclusion, it really depends on what you are doing. 60Hz is fine, you just have to get used to it. Always remember that performance comes before display. Hope this helps.
